Come and see the beauty of South Island, New Zealand!

DAY 1 – AUCKLAND-WELLINGTON

Travel south from Auckland via the Waikato, Taupo, and Central North Island. Passing through the biggest lake in NZ, amazing farmlands, and the Desert Road until we reach the most southern capital of the world.

DAY 2 – FREE DAY WELLINGTON

Time to explore the capital city of New Zealand. Visit the Te Papa Museum, government buildings, the waterfront, and ride the cable car (included) to the botanic gardens for panoramic views of the city. At night we will pay some bowling (included).

DAY 3 – WELLINGTON – PICTON – KAIKOURA

Take the scenic ferry ride to Picton early in the morning. After Picton, we drive down to Kaikoura where you can do whale watching, swim with dolphins or seals.

DAY 4 – KAIKOURA – LAKE TEKAPO

Today we drive down to Lake Tekapo, where you wil be relaxing in a hot water spa (included) upon arrival. Get ready for the stargazing at night time (if skies are clear).

DAY 5 – LAKE TEKAPO – QUEENSTOWN

After breakfast, we head down to Queenstown, you will be able to see the brilliant turquoise Lake Pukaki with Mt Cook on the background. After lunch time, we’ll be arriving at the highlight of our tour – Queenstown – the adrenaline capital of the world! At night time you will experience an exciting interactive motion ride Ice Bar (Mocktail included).

DAY 6 – MILFORD SOUND DAY TOUR

Today we go on a day tour to the fiords of Milford Sound Road Trip, one of the world’s top tourist attractions and considered the eighth wonder of the world. Lord of the Rings scenery wherever you look. (optional activity).

DAY 7 – FREE DAY QUEENSTOWN

Test your limits in the adrenaline capital of the world with these optional activities: bungy jump, skydiving, jet boating, paragliding, canyon swing, and the luge. You will also challenge your fears at the Odyssey Sensory Maze (included).

DAY 8 – QUEENSTOWN – FRANZ JOSEF

We leave early to the breathtaking West Coast, stopping in Lake Wanaka, the Blue Pools, and arriving at the famous glacier in Franz Josef for a close walk to see all the ice.

DAY 9 – FRANZ JOSEF – PUNAKAIKI – KAITERITERI

After breakfast, enjoy the optional helicopter flight over the glacier and the snow landing. After that we make our way north to Kaiteriteri Beach stopping at the amazing Pancake Rocks and blowholes

DAY 10 – FREE DAY KAITERITERI

Today we will spend all day enjoying the scenic beaches of the Abel Tasman National Park where you can go for kayaking (optional), swimming or stand-up paddle.

DAY 11 – KAITERITERI – WELLINGTON

We drive north to Picton and travel through one of New Zealand’s most famous roads, Queens Charlotte Drive, with gorgeous sceneries all throughout. We will arrive in Picton around 12 noon where we take the ferry back to Wellington.

DAY 12 – WELLINGTON – TONGARIRO NATIONAL PARK

Late in the morning we will drive to the Tongariro National Park where we will visit the biggest mountain on the North Island (Mt Ruapehu), visit the ski field of Whakapapa, and get really close to Mt Doom (Lord of the Rings Scenery).

DAY 13 – TONGARIRO NATIONAL PARK – AUCKLAND

We will spend our last day touring the Tongariro National Park with the option of doing the Tongariro Crossing (conditions apply; you should arrange your own transportation to Auckland). Before going back to Auckland we will make one last stop at the amazing Waitomo Glowworm Caves (included).
